Jeff Youtz was appointed in 1994 as the first Manager of the Budget and Policy Analysis Division of the Legislative Services Office and gained national recognition for his work in state budgeting practices.

Jeff is a lifelong Idaho resident born and educated in Twin Falls and graduated from the College of Idaho in Caldwell.

As Director of the Legislative Services Office beginning in 2006, Jeff served on the Capitol Commission and played a key role in securing funding and ensuring the success of the restoration of the Idaho Capitol building.

Jeff will retire in September 2014 after years of service characterized by professionalism, warmth, and dedication to the Legislature and its institution.
