Establishes a 10-member state board of medicine composed of 7 physicians, 1 Idaho state police director, and 2 public members.

Physician members serve 6-year terms: 6 licensed in medicine and surgery and 1 licensed in osteopathic medicine, with nominations from Idaho medical association and Idaho osteopathic association respectively.

Public members appointed by governor serve 3-year terms and must be Idaho residents for at least 5 years with no authorization to practice healing arts or substantial connections to medical facilities except as patients.

Board members hold office until expiration of their term and until their successor is duly appointed and qualified.

Five board members constitute a quorum, board elects its own chairman, and compensation is provided per section 59-509(n) Idaho Code except for state employees.
