Revises the definition of "dental assistant" to change "a dentist at his" to "a dentist at" and "the a dentist's supervision" to "a dentist's supervision" for grammatical corrections.

Modifies the definition of "dental specialist" to change "limits his practice" to "limits practice" and "from a board-approved postgraduate program in his the dentist's specialty" to "from a board-approved postgraduate program in the dentist's specialty" for grammatical corrections.

Updates the definition of "Extended access oral health care program" to change "a local school district" to "a school district" and clarifies that programs must be "organized in accordance with section 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4)" rather than merely "recognized under" those sections.

Expands the definition of eligible populations for extended access programs to include persons who "may be unable" to receive regular dental care due to "age, infirmity, indigence, disability or other similar reason."

Specifies that the board may require reapproval of oral health care programs on an annual basis or at other times deemed necessary or appropriate.
