Exempts persons licensed or regulated by the state of Idaho from massage therapy licensing requirements for practices within their licensed scope of practice.

Exempts foreign massage therapists temporarily in Idaho for up to 60 days in a calendar year to teach courses or consult with licensed therapists, or to work with organized athletic events and performing arts companies.

Exempts students enrolled in board-approved massage therapy instruction from licensing requirements while completing clinical requirements or supervised fieldwork, provided they do not claim licensure or receive compensation.

Exempts practitioners of somatic education methods (Feldenkrais, Trager approach, body-mind centering, Ortho-Bionomy, craniosacral therapy), energy-based practices (polarity, acupressure, reiki, shiatsu), and structural integration (Rolfing, Hellerwork) from massage therapy licensing if their services are not designated as massage or massage therapy.

Exempts persons restricting their soft tissue manipulation practice to hands, feet, or ears from massage therapy licensing requirements provided they do not represent themselves as massage therapists.
