Increases the fee for original issuance of a concealed weapons license from $20.00 to $240.00, paid to the sheriff for enforcement purposes.

Sheriffs may collect additional fees to cover costs of fingerprint processing and license materials required by state or federal agencies, which are paid to the state.

Renewal fee remains at $15.00, with a $10.00 late penalty for renewals submitted 91-180 days after expiration.

License validity periods unchanged: four (4) years for licenses issued before July 1, 2006, and five (5) years for licenses issued on or after July 1, 2006.

All other provisions regarding eligibility criteria, disqualifications, application procedures, and license requirements remain in effect.
