Requires dispensing pharmacists to notify prescribers within 5 business days after dispensing a biological product, including the specific product name and manufacturer through electronic medical records, e-prescribing technology, pharmacy records, facsimile, telephone, or electronic transmission.

Exempts notification requirements when no FDA-approved interchangeable biological product exists for the prescribed product, when a refill uses the same product as previously dispensed, or when prior communication to the prescriber has already occurred before dispensing.

Directs the Idaho Board of Pharmacy to maintain a website link to the current list of all biological products determined by the FDA as interchangeable.

Specifies that notification requirements shall not delay the dispensing of valid prescriptions for biological products.

Sunsets the provisions of this act on July 1, 2018.
