Exempts industrial equipment from product approval and certification requirements under Idaho Code and the National Electrical Code unless the board determines the equipment presents an undue hazard to life and property.

Allows HVAC licensees to install control wiring of 24 volts or less for HVAC equipment of 5 tons or less in capacity.

Permits HVAC and plumbing license holders to install electrical connections to water heaters and HVAC equipment from the disconnecting means to the unit, provided the disconnect is in sight and the circuit is no more than 50 feet long.

Allows HVAC licensees to install electrical space heaters with no attached ductwork and ventilating fans, except ducted range hoods in residences.

Requires that plumbing or HVAC installation permits issued by the Idaho Division of Building Safety that include electrical work components be sufficient to satisfy permitting and inspection requirements if all required permit fees are paid.
