Appropriates $70,732,700 to the Idaho State Police for fiscal year 2016 (July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016) across ten divisions: Brand Inspection, Director's Office, Executive Protection, Investigations, Patrol, Law Enforcement Programs, Support Services, Forensic Services, Peace Officer Standards and Training Academy, and Racing Commission.

Largest appropriations go to Patrol ($36,236,000), Investigations ($9,109,900), and Forensic Services ($5,069,500).

Funding sources include General Fund, Idaho Law Enforcement Fund, Idaho Law Enforcement (Project Choice) Fund, federal grants, and specialized funds such as the State Brand Board Fund and Alcohol Beverage Control Fund.

Limits Idaho State Police to a maximum of 560.5 full-time equivalent positions during the fiscal year, unless the Governor authorizes additional positions with prompt notification to the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee.
