Legislature directs the Bureau of Emergency Medical Services and Preparedness to convene a working group to draft EMS system legislation for consideration by the Second Regular Session of the Sixty-third Idaho Legislature

Working group must address findings and recommendations from the November 2010 Office of Performance Evaluations report titled "Governance of EMS Agencies in Idaho" and other relevant materials

Bureau must include a broad stakeholder base in the working group membership to ensure the resulting legislation addresses the needs of all Idahoans

Resolution notes that Idaho's current EMS system is provided by a patchwork of organizations bound together by outdated statutes that no longer adequately serve the state's needs

Prior Senate Bill 1391 (2010) attempted to align EMS statutes but was held in committee due to stakeholder concerns; a 2013 follow-up report found local progress but no significant statewide action on previous recommendations
