Amends Section 18-8005, Idaho Code, regarding penalties for driving under the influence violations.

For felony DUI convictions (three or more violations within ten years), modifies driving privilege suspension language to allow suspended privileges for an additional period not to exceed four (4) years after the mandatory one (1) year suspension, during which defendants may request restricted driving privileges if necessary for employment or family health needs.

Clarifies that defendants convicted of felony DUI must surrender their driver's license or permit to the court and be required to use ignition interlock systems on motor vehicles following the mandatory one (1) year license suspension period.

Makes technical corrections to existing penalty provisions for first, second, and subsequent DUI violations, including jail terms, fines, and driving privilege suspensions.

Maintains requirements for alcohol evaluations, court notifications, and restrictions on commercial driving privileges for all DUI convictions.
