Allows school boards to enter supplemental contracts with certificated employees for extra duty or extra day assignments beyond regular teaching duties.

Extra duty assignments have no property rights and can be non-renewed; boards must provide written notice with reasons and allow employees an informal review within 15 days followed by written final decision notification.

Extra day assignments provide additional days of service at the same daily rate and due process rights as the employee's underlying contract.

Contracts must be in a form approved by the state superintendent of public instruction.

Defines "underlying contract" as category 1, 2, 3, or renewable contracts.
