Appropriates $106,070,300 to the Department of Fish and Game for the fiscal year July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017, distributed across seven program areas: Administration, Enforcement, Fisheries, Wildlife, Communications, Engineering, and Wildlife Mitigation and Habitat Conservation.

Funding comes from multiple sources including Fish and Game (Licenses) Fund, Fish and Game (Other) Fund, Fish and Game Set-Aside Funds, Expendable Big Game Depredation Fund, Fish and Game Expendable Trust Fund, Fish and Game Nonexpendable Trust Fund, and Fish and Game (Federal) Fund.

Appropriations are allocated across personnel costs ($56,344,900), operating expenditures ($39,548,100), capital outlay ($9,402,500), and trustee and benefit payments ($774,800).

Limits the Department of Fish and Game to no more than 558 full-time equivalent positions during the fiscal year period, unless the Governor specifically authorizes additional positions.

Requires the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee to be notified promptly of any increased positions authorized by the Governor.
