Appropriates $77,449,600 to the Idaho State Police for fiscal year 2017 (July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017) across ten programs: Brand Inspection, Director's Office, Executive Protection, Investigations, Patrol, Law Enforcement Programs, Support Services, Forensic Services, Peace Officer Standards and Training Academy, and Racing Commission.

Funds distributed across multiple sources including General Fund ($24,451,900), Idaho Law Enforcement Fund ($18,020,500), Alcohol Beverage Control Fund ($1,494,100), federal grants, and specialized enforcement donation and telecommunications funds.

Authorizes Idaho State Police to maintain no more than 572.85 full-time equivalent positions during the fiscal year, with any additional positions requiring specific authorization by the Governor.

Requires the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee to be notified promptly of any increased positions authorized by the Governor.
