Approves all temporary rules adopted by state agencies under the Administrative Procedure Act that were submitted to the Legislature for review during the 2016 legislative session.

Approved temporary rules remain in effect until they expire by their own terms or are replaced by a final rule, whichever occurs first.

Temporary rules cannot remain in effect beyond the conclusion of the First Regular Session of the Sixty-fourth Idaho Legislature unless further extended by concurrent resolution of both houses.

Temporary rules not submitted to the Legislature for review during the 2016 session or excepted from approval expire upon adjournment of the Second Regular Session of the Sixty-third Idaho Legislature unless approved by separate concurrent resolution.

Finds that approving temporary rules serves the public interest by preventing additional state agency expenses from readopting and republishing needed temporary rules.
