Increases Idaho's general minimum wage to $8.75 per hour effective July 1, 2017, $10.50 per hour effective July 1, 2018, and $12.00 per hour effective July 1, 2019

Beginning September 30, 2020, and annually thereafter, the director of commerce shall adjust the minimum wage on January 1 based on changes in the U.S. Department of Labor's Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W)

Increases the minimum direct wage for tipped employees to $4.35 per hour (July 1, 2017), $5.85 per hour (July 1, 2018), and $7.35 per hour (July 1, 2019), with annual CPI-W adjustments beginning January 1, 2021

Requires employers to make up the difference if tips combined with direct wages do not equal the minimum wage, and places burden on employers to demonstrate amount of tips actually received

Removes the provision allowing employers to pay employees under twenty years of age a reduced minimum wage of $4.25 per hour during their first ninety days of employment
