City treasurers must render monthly accounting reports to the city council within 60 days after month conclusion, stating financial condition and account balances.

Quarterly treasurer's reports made available on the city's website within 30 days of each quarter's conclusion satisfy publication requirements under Idaho Code Section 50-1011.

City councils must examine treasurer's accounts at least quarterly by reviewing the quarterly treasurer's report, with the report completed within 30 days after each calendar quarter and transmitted to the city clerk for the next council agenda.

Treasurers must file monthly reports with the governing board no later than the last business day of each month showing cash on hand, financial institutions where funds are deposited, and amounts in each institution as of the last day of the preceding month.

If a governing board finds a treasurer has willfully made false statements in monthly reports, the treasurer may be suspended or removed from office in accordance with applicable law.
