Removes the restriction that commissioners cannot serve more than two consecutive four-year terms from Section 33-5213, Idaho Code.

Maintains the commission structure of seven members appointed by the governor (3 members), speaker of the house (2 members), and president pro tempore of the senate (2 members).

Keeps the four-year term length for commission members with regional balance considerations.

Preserves requirements that commissioners demonstrate expertise in public and nonprofit governance, management, finance, public school leadership, assessment, curriculum and instruction, and public education law.

Allows commission members to continue serving until their successor is appointed, unless removed for cause by the appointing authority.
