Prohibits insurers and third-party payers from requiring dentists to adopt fees set by the payer for services not covered under the dental plan contract.

Defines "covered services" as services and procedures reimbursed under the applicable dental plan, subject to contractual limitations, and clarifies that services become non-covered when calendar-year limits or other contractual limits are reached.

Amends both Section 41-1849 and Section 41-3444 of Idaho Code with identical provisions regarding dental service provider contracts.

Applies to contracts issued after December 31, 2017, with existing contracts required to comply by their next anniversary date, renewal date, expiration date, or collective bargaining agreement expiration, whichever is latest.
