House Concurrent Resolution No. 6 Summary

• Authorizes the Legislative Council to appoint a committee to study public procurement issues in Idaho
• Committee shall examine administrative and judicial review of procurement challenges and appeals, information technology procurement, authority of persons and entities to obligate the state on contracts, and applicability of the State Procurement Act
• Legislative Council determines the number of legislators and membership representation from each house
• Nonlegislative members may be appointed by committee co-chairs but receive no legislative funds for expenses and have no voting privileges
• Committee shall report findings, recommendations, and proposed legislation to the Second Regular Session of the Sixty-fourth Idaho Legislature
