Amends Section 16-1602, Idaho Code, to revise the definition of "protective order" in child protective cases.

Expands the definition to include protective orders issued following an adjudicatory hearing to preserve family unity and ensure the child's best interests, in addition to orders issued prior to adjudicatory hearings.

Specifies that protective orders shall have the same form and effect as domestic violence protection orders issued under chapter 63, title 39, Idaho Code.

Maintains the maximum duration of protective orders at three (3) months unless otherwise stated in the order.

Makes technical corrections to various definitions throughout Section 16-1602, including changes to "psychotropic medication," "supportive services," and other related terms.
