Designates the Peace Officer Standards and Training Council as a criminal justice agency authorized to obtain and retain confidential criminal justice information for purposes of certifying, suspending, or revoking certification of peace officers and public safety personnel.

Requires the council to comply with chapter 30, title 67, Idaho Code when recording or retaining any confidential criminal justice information.

Makes technical corrections to Idaho Code section 19-5109 by replacing "which" with "that" in multiple locations throughout the statute.

Maintains existing council powers to establish training and certification standards, approve training institutions, maintain officer records and transcripts, and decertify officers for felony convictions, misdemeanors, ethics violations, or falsification of information.
