Approves all temporary rules adopted by Idaho state agencies under the Administrative Procedure Act and submitted to the Legislature during the 2017 legislative session, with one enumerated exception

Exceptions: IDAPA 08.02.03 (State Board of Education rules regarding Idaho Science Standards) specific subsections on Earth and Space Science, Life Science standards adopted under Docket Number 08-0203-1701

Approved temporary rules remain in effect until expiration by their own terms or replacement by final rules, but cannot extend beyond the conclusion of the Sixty-fourth Legislature's Second Regular Session without further concurrent resolution approval

Temporary rules not submitted for review during the 2017 session or excepted from approval expire upon adjournment of the First Regular Session unless separately approved by concurrent resolution

Legislature finds that extending temporary rules serves the public interest by avoiding additional state agency expenses for readoption and republishing of rules needed for state business
