House Bill 352 Summary

• Allows physicians or physician assistants licensed in other U.S. jurisdictions or credentialed in other countries to practice in Idaho for up to 60 days per calendar year if affiliated with an athletic team, athletic organization, or performing arts company and treating only affiliated patients or staff.

• Permits dietitians licensed in other U.S. jurisdictions or credentialed in other countries to practice in Idaho for up to 60 days per calendar year under the same conditions as physicians and physician assistants.

• Adds licensure exemption for athletic trainers licensed, registered, or certified in good standing in another state or certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification to provide services for up to 60 days per calendar year in association with licensed athletic trainers.

• Adds licensure exemption for athletic trainers licensed in other jurisdictions or credentialed in other countries who are affiliated with established athletic teams, athletic organizations, or performing arts companies temporarily practicing in Idaho for up to 60 days per calendar year.

• Makes technical corrections to medical practice statutes regarding penalties and terminology.
