Possession of marijuana in an amount greater than 3 ounces net weight is a felony punishable by imprisonment up to 5 years, a fine up to $10,000, or both.

Possession of 1/2 ounce or less of marijuana is a misdemeanor, but may be reduced to an infraction if the offender has no prior drug-related conviction and pays a $250 fine or performs 8 hours of community service plus 4 hours of drug abuse education.

Corrects code references in sections 18-7803, 18-7804, and 18-8201 related to racketeering, illegal investment, and money laundering statutes to properly reference controlled substance violations under section 37-2732.

Amends section 37-2801 to update code references regarding criminal forfeiture of property related to controlled substance violations.

Expands definition of "racketeering" in section 18-7803 to include controlled substance violations under sections 37-2732(a), (b), (c), (e), and (fg), along with sections 37-2732B, 37-2734, and 37-2734B.
