Increases juror compensation to $50.00 per day for each day of required court attendance that exceeds five days for one trial, paid from county treasury.

Authorizes county commissioners to set juror per diem rates within specified ranges: $5.00-$25.00 for half-day service and $10.00-$50.00 for longer distances, plus $10.00-$50.00 for full-day service.

Creates new Section 2-222 to establish a state reimbursement program for counties' lengthy trial juror compensation expenses, providing $40.00 per juror and alternate juror per day beyond the fifth day of service.

Requires county commissioners to file annual applications with the administrative director of courts for reimbursement, effective September 30, 2018, with reimbursement distributed proportionally if insufficient funds exist to fully reimburse all approved applications.

Authorizes the Idaho Supreme Court to establish rules governing the administration of lengthy trial juror compensation and reimbursement procedures.
