Amends Section 54-1144 to allow the division of veterans services and Idaho chapters of nationally chartered veterans services organizations to assume control of unclaimed cremated remains of eligible veterans and arrange interment at state veterans cemeteries.

Provides liability protections for funeral establishments, mortuaries, cemeteries, crematories, morticians, funeral directors, and state employees related to transfer and interment of cremated remains under the provisions of this act.

Makes technical corrections to Sections 65-108, 65-202, and 65-204 by standardizing language references to "a state veterans cemetery" throughout the code.

Clarifies that state veterans cemeteries are not subject to local land use planning ordinances and vest operational control in the division of veterans services.

Authorizes the administrator of the division of veterans services to collect federal burial and plot allowance benefits and establish charges for interment, disinterment, and reinterment services.
