Requires community college credits to transfer at full credit value to Idaho public colleges and universities toward baccalaureate degrees, pursuant to new Section 33-3728.

Students completing an associate of arts or associate of science degree at a regionally accredited postsecondary institution are not required to complete additional general education requirements upon transfer to an Idaho public institution.

Students who complete individual general education courses without a degree must have those credits applied toward associated general education requirements at the receiving institution.

Students completing an associate of applied science degree may pursue an interdisciplinary bachelor of applied science or bachelor of applied technology degree at any Idaho public postsecondary institution offering such programs.

Receiving institutions must provide written notification of credit transfer decisions, explain any denied credits, report annual transfer statistics to the state board of education, and cannot discriminate against students based on transferred credits.
