Adds new section 49-458 to allow registration of former military vehicles that do not meet federal motor vehicle safety standards for fire suppression or related purposes when acquired by the Idaho Department of Lands for transfer to a qualified entity.

Defines "former military vehicle" as a vehicle built for the United States armed forces that no longer meets federal safety standards and is no longer owned by the U.S. government.

Defines "qualified entity" as the state, political subdivisions of the state, nonprofit subscription fire protection units registered with the state, or organizations with a written agreement with the Idaho Department of Lands.

Registration for former military vehicles automatically expires if transferred by a qualified entity to any person or entity that is not a qualified entity.

Exempts former military vehicles registered under section 49-458 from titling requirements under Idaho Code chapter 49-501.
