Adds new Section 41-1852 to Idaho Code establishing requirements for health benefit plans covering contraceptives approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration

Requires health benefit plans issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2019, to reimburse for a twelve-month supply of contraceptives obtained at one time, unless the enrollee or prescribing provider requests a smaller supply

Mandates that health benefit plans allow enrollees to receive contraceptives on-site at the provider's office if available

Requires any dispensing practices to follow clinical guidelines for appropriate prescribing and dispensing while maximizing access to effective contraceptives and ensuring patient health
