Increases minimum liability insurance requirements for motor vehicles from $25,000/$100,000/$15,000 to $250,000/$5,100,000/$150,000 for bodily injury and property damage coverage.

Proof of financial responsibility now requires $250,000 coverage for bodily injury to or death of one person in any accident.

Requires $5,100,000 coverage for bodily injury to or death of two or more persons in any accident.

Requires $150,000 coverage for property damage in any accident.

Effective date is July 1, 2019, and applies to all policies, coverages, and contracts written or renewed on or after January 1, 2019.
