Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 146 Summary

• Authorizes the Legislative Council to appoint an interim committee to study Idaho's occupational licensing and certification laws and rules and examine their necessity

• Committee shall review reports submitted to the Governor's office pursuant to Executive Order No. 2017-06 (issued May 19, 2017) regarding occupational licensing requirements that may be modified or eliminated

• Legislative Council determines the number of legislators and house representation on the committee and may authorize nonlegislative members to provide input and advice

• Nonlegislative committee members shall not be reimbursed for per diem, mileage, or other expenses and shall not have voting privileges on recommendations or proposed legislation

• Committee shall report findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the First Regular Session of the Sixty-fifth Idaho Legislature
