Amends Idaho Code Section 59-1342 to exclude Idaho legislators who first took office after July 1, 2019 from the special calculation method for elected officials serving less than 20 hours per week, requiring them instead to use standard retirement benefit calculations based on total credited service months.

Amends Idaho Code Section 59-1346 similarly to exclude Idaho legislators who first took office after July 1, 2019 from the special early retirement allowance calculation method for part-time elected officials, requiring them to use standard early retirement calculations.

Legislators who took office on or before July 1, 2019 retain the ability to use the special calculation method for elected officials, allowing separate treatment of excess months of service as elected officials.

Makes technical corrections to standardize language, including changing "subsection (5)(a) subparagraph" references to "paragraph" and correcting capitalization of "workstation" throughout both sections.
