Removes subsection (25) from Section 49-202, Idaho Code, which previously required the Idaho Transportation Department and local authorities to place and maintain stop signs at railroad grade crossings where electric or mechanical warning signals do not exist.

Eliminates provisions that made stop sign placement mandatory at railroad crossings except when engineering studies determined their absence would create less hazard.

Deletes language addressing liability protections and determinations for railroad companies and governmental authorities related to railroad crossing accidents and signage.

Retains all other duties of the Idaho Transportation Department including vehicle registration, driver's licensing, traffic control, bridge inspections, and speed limit determinations.
