Administrator of the Division of Public Works may promulgate rules for control of motor vehicle parking in the state capitol mall.

Administrator may contract with public or private entities for rental of parking facilities in the capitol mall outside of state office hours and for special events declared by the director.

Department of Administration may pay costs for operation and management of parking properties from rents received.

Violations of parking rules are subject to fines of $2.00 to $25.00, with violations involving altered, counterfeited, or misused parking permits subject to fines up to $50.00.

Ada County magistrates and courts have jurisdiction to hear and determine violations of parking rules; alleged violations are excluded from chapter 52 provisions of Idaho Code.
