Landlords of month-to-month leases may change lease terms with 15 days written notice before the end of the month.

Local governmental units are prohibited from enacting or enforcing ordinances that control the amount of rent charged for private residential property.

For residential leases of 12 months or longer, landlords must provide tenants 45 days written notice before lease expiration if rent increases exceed 10% or if the landlord intends not to renew.

For month-to-month residential leases, landlords must provide 30 days written notice before implementing rent increases that exceed 10% in aggregate over a 12-month period.
