Creates a student loan compensation program for nurses licensed under Idaho Code section 54-1408 employed at state veterans homes, overseen by the division of veterans services with advice from the Idaho veterans affairs commission.

Loan repayment is limited to outstanding student loans accrued prior to current employment and is subject to annual appropriation and availability of funds.

Eligible nurses must have completed at least 2,080 credited state service hours with satisfactory performance standards before receiving initial disbursement and for each subsequent annual disbursement.

Maximum annual reimbursement is $5,000 per eligible nurse, with loan repayment assistance limited to a five-year period.

Participating nurses must enter into annual agreements disclosing current loan balances and confirming prior disbursements were used for outstanding student loan repayment.
