• Amends Section 31-1430 to authorize fire protection districts to enter into intra-agency and mutual aid agreements with counties, ambulance service districts, and municipalities in Idaho and other states for protecting life and property.

• Amends Section 31-3906 to allow county commissioners to enter into cooperative agreements with adjacent counties and fire protection districts for providing ambulance service, with costs apportioned equitably among participating entities.

• Amends Section 31-3908 to authorize ambulance service districts to enter into cooperative agreements with adjoining counties, fire protection districts, and other adjoining political subdivisions to pool resources and increase efficiency in emergency medical services.

• Makes technical corrections to existing language regarding fire protection district operations and ambulance district procedures.
