Establishes the Public School Digital Content and Curriculum Fund in the state treasury, administered by the state department of education, funded through legislative appropriations that are continuously available for the identified purposes.

Fund moneys may be distributed to schools for digital content and curriculum directly impacting student achievement, including career technical education, character education, reading and mathematics, and academic text support systems with authentic books and teaching tools.

Local education agencies (LEAs) may request distributions up to $50,000 per request on a first-come, first-served basis, with requests prioritized in order received if funds are unavailable at time of application.

LEAs must have technology infrastructure in place and submit explanations detailing requested amount, type of content, alignment with their continuous improvement plan targets, and methods to measure progress toward those targets.

Additional distributions to an LEA are only granted if the LEA has met or is making demonstrable progress toward its measurable targets from the initial distribution.
