House Bill No. 606 Summary

• Appropriates $6,299,800 to the Idaho State Lottery for fiscal year 2021 (July 1, 2020 – June 30, 2021) consisting of $3,517,100 for personnel costs, $2,654,100 for operating expenditures, and $128,600 for capital outlay.

• Authorizes the Idaho State Lottery no more than 45 full-time equivalent positions during the fiscal year 2021 period, unless the Governor specifically authorizes additional positions.

• Requires the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee to be notified promptly of any increased positions authorized by the Governor.

• Provides continuous appropriation authority for prizes, retailer commissions, advertising and promotional costs, and gaming supplier vendor fees based on sales in accordance with Idaho Code Section 67-7428.
