Amends Section 33-4602, Idaho Code to extend Advanced Opportunities funding to students attending nonpublic schools for the first time.

Nonpublic school students may access funding for up to four (4) Advanced Placement exams (maximum two per year) and dual credits not exceeding nine (9) credits per academic year and eighteen (18) total credits per student.

Eligible dual credit courses must meet requirements in subsection (1)(b) of the statute and be offered by regionally accredited postsecondary institutions.

Funding for nonpublic school students is limited to one percent (1%) of total Advanced Opportunities appropriations for each fiscal year and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis until exhausted.

State board of education may promulgate rules to implement these provisions for nonpublic school student participation.
