Legislative Council authorized to appoint a committee to study intrastate commercial air service in Idaho and develop a long-term, sustainable strategy.

Committee shall include two legislative cochairs (one appointed by Senate President Pro Tempore, one by House Speaker) and nine nonlegislative voting members representing the Idaho Transportation Department, business community, public members, commercial airline industry, and airport directors.

Committee authorized to retain a consultant or analyst with expertise in commercial airline service to conduct economic research and assist with decision-making.

Committee shall report findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the First Regular Session of the Sixty-sixth Idaho Legislature.

Nonlegislative committee members shall not receive reimbursement from legislative funds for per diem, mileage, or other expenses.
