• Makes technical corrections to statute language regarding per-student support calculations and divisor assignments for public charter schools with fewer than 100 secondary students.

• Declares an emergency and provides retroactive application to July 1, 2020, allowing the funding exception to apply to the 2020-2021 school year and prior periods.

• Maintains existing provisions for special education funding, alternative school support, transportation support, facilities funds, advance payments, and authorizer fees for public charter schools.

• Preserves authority for public charter schools to apply for federal grants and career technical education funding, including provisions for public virtual schools.
