House Bill No. 30 Summary

• Amends Section 23-404 to require $800,000 to be transferred annually from the liquor account to the Peace Officers Standards and Training Fund created in Section 19-5116.

• Modifies the distribution formula for liquor account moneys after transfers to the division and the Peace Officers Standards and Training Fund are made.

• Updates Section 33-2139 to correct a code reference from "23-404(1)(cd)(iii)" to "23-404(1)(bc)(iii)" for moneys transferred to the state community college account.

• Defines "city law enforcement officer" as an individual employed by a city or under contract with another city or county authorized to investigate, enforce, prosecute or punish violations of city or state statutes, ordinances or regulations.
