Allows governing bodies of political subdivisions with no more than 140 registered voters at the last general election to apply to their county board of commissioners for permission to hold at-large elections instead of district zone or subdistrict elections

County board of commissioners makes the final determination on whether to permit at-large elections for the political subdivision's governing body

County clerk must notify affected electors of the board's decision at least 90 days before the next general election

Approved at-large elections continue for future elections unless the county board of commissioners revokes the approval
