• Appropriates $309,643,400 to the Department of Correction for fiscal year 2022 (July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022) across multiple programs including Management Services, State Prisons, Community Corrections, and Medical Services.

• Authorizes the Department of Correction to employ no more than 2,061.85 full-time equivalent positions during the fiscal year, with any increases requiring Governor approval and notification to the Joint Finance-Appropriations Committee.

• Exempts the Department from standard program transfer limitations, allowing unlimited transfers between programs, except that County and Out-of-State Placement, Correctional Alternative Placement, and Medical Services funds may only be transferred between those three programs.
