Removes requirement that former armed forces members must designate Idaho as intended domicile or have Idaho listed as home of record at time of separation to qualify for resident student status.

Removes requirement that former armed forces members must enroll in college within one (1) year of separation to maintain resident student status.

Retains requirement that former armed forces members with honorable separation after at least two (2) years of service must actively establish Idaho domicile within one (1) year of matriculation at a public institution of higher education.

Applies to any former United States armed forces member separated under honorable conditions after at least two (2) years of service who moves to Idaho for purpose of establishing domicile.

Effective date: July 1, 2022.
