Requires write-in candidates for president to certify their vice presidential and presidential electors, all of whom must be qualified to serve in their respective offices.

Clarifies that in counties using optical scan ballots, electors may only use writing to vote for write-in candidates, not stickers or other devices.

Standardizes signature verification procedures for independent candidates to follow the same method prescribed in section 34-1807, Idaho Code, used for recall petitions.

Exempts petition circulators for independent presidential and vice presidential candidates from the requirement to be Idaho residents.

Makes technical corrections to terminology, replacing "vice-president" with "vice president" throughout the statute.
