Amends Idaho Code Section 59-1303 to grant police officer member status for retirement purposes to emergency communications officers pursuant to section 19-5119, Idaho Code.

Adds emergency communications officers to the list of designated positions with police officer retirement status across Idaho State Police, county law enforcement, and city law enforcement agencies.

Maintains existing requirement that employers must certify to the retirement board that members in designated positions are police officers for retirement purposes, with board authority to review and reclassify positions.

Declared an emergency measure with an effective date of July 1, 2022.
