Eliminates all fees assessed against juveniles, their parents, and legally obligated persons in juvenile corrections cases, declaring such fees void, uncollectible, and unenforceable.

Removes or exempts juveniles from payment of court-ordered fees including detention/probation training academy fees, community service fees, probation supervision fees, pretrial supervision fees, drug court fees, and collection costs.

Presumes juveniles and their parents or legally obligated persons to be indigent for purposes of any case brought under the juvenile corrections act.

Prohibits county commissioners, court clerks, and judges from imposing or collecting juvenile-related fees and removes provisions authorizing counties to charge parents for juvenile supervision and confinement costs.

Effective date: July 1, 2022, with an emergency declaration.
