Legislature declares that the Water Resource Board's application for a water right for the Anderson Ranch Dam raise project is made in good faith and not for delay or speculative purposes.

Project will add 29,000 acre-feet of storage capacity to Anderson Ranch Dam.

Legislature finds the project is in the local public interest, consistent with Idaho water resource conservation, and will not adversely affect the local economy of the Boise River watershed.

Director of the Department of Water Resources is not required to make findings on these criteria when evaluating the board's water right application.

Act becomes effective July 1, 2022, under an emergency declaration.
